Fees and Japanese Health Insurance

In Japan the fees for a medical consultation with a qualified psychiatrist, and any other medical doctor who is licensed to practice in Japan, are covered by the National Health Insurance System (Hokensho) with the client only being required to pay 30% of the actual consultation fees Any medications prescribed are similarly covered for clients who are covered by the Japanese National Health Insurance Card.

Fees for membership of the Daycare (10 a.m. - 4 p.m.) and 'Nightcare' (4 p.m. - 8 p.m.) Adult Rehabilitation Center facility are completely covered by the same system. Membership of the daycare and 'noghtcare' center is permitted in situations where both the client feels this to be a suitable form of support and the clients application for membership is approved of in consultation between the client and one of our qualified psychiatrists.
